Garden Quartz also known as lodolite,scenic quartz or landscape quartz,is a variety of microcrystalline quartz characterized by trapped internal mineral insulations.

Crystal system- Trigonal
Hardness- 7 on the MOHs scale
Rock formation process:
Environment- forms in deep underground hydrothermal veins and pegmatitic cavities.
Inclusion stages- as hot silica rich fluids circulate through fractures,the host clear quartz begins to grow. Other aquatic or mineral sediments (like green chlorite or red iron clay) settle sequentially on the crystal faces during pauses in quartz growth.
Enclosure- the primary clear quartz continues to expand and crystallize over long periods,trapping the following reign minerals permanently inside.
