Pink Petalite is rare,lithium rich mineral.

Crystal system-Monoclinic. It typically forms as large tabular prismatic crystals,flat plates or columnar and cleavable masses.
Mineral class- Silicate
Rock formation- Primarily forms in granitic pegmatites. These are coarse-grained igneous rocks that develop during the final slow cooling stages of magma crystallization,usually alongside other lithium rich minerals.
Hardness- 6-6.5 on the MOHs scale
