Aura Quartz is a natural Quartz geode or cluster that has been permanently heat treated in a lab to bond vaporized precious metals,such as gold,platinum or titanium to its surface. Giving it a vibrant iridescent sheen. It maintains all the fundamental mineral and geological traits of raw quartz.
Quartz belongs to the trigonal crystal system and the mineral class is silicate.
Rock formation: geodes (hollow cavity rocks lined with interior crystals) or clusters. These typically form in igneous (gas pockets in cooling lava) sedimentary or metamorphic rocks over millions of years as mineral rich waters seep into cavities.
