Cerussite:

Crystal system- Orthorhombic. It belongs specifically to the aragonite group and frequently displays iconic v-shaped,chevron or reticulated snowflake twinning.

Rock formation: It forms as a secondary mineral in the oxidation zones of lead ore deposits. This occurs when carbonated groundwater chemically interacts with primary lead sulfides like galena.

Sphalerite:
