Dendrites are branching tree like crystals habits that form through rapid non equilibrium crystallization from mineral rich fluids or supercooled melts. While often mistaken for fossils,they are inorganic inclusions of metallic oxides,most commonly manganese or iron that create delicate fractal patterns on or within rock surfaces.
